Derick Adams, Vice President of Human Resources for Health Alliance Plan in Detroit, was named a Man of Excellence by the Michigan Chronicle. Mr. Adams leads succession planning, leadership evaluation and development, and cultural development projects as well as a founding member of the HAP diversity committee.
Mr. Adams is a board member of the Michigan Colleges Alliance, the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Michigan, the Oakland Schools Education Foundation and the House of Prayer and Praise Ministries. He has been a gubernatorial appointee on the Michigan State Council for Labor and Economic Growth.
