You may have seen a news article recently about thieves breaking into and stealing equipment from a gaming bus back in June. That bus belongs to Jaylin Staley, an 11-year old boy from Wixom who owns the bus as a business called Level Up With Jay’s Gaming Bus. According to Jay, “It’s a gaming bus. We drive it to your house, and then you come in and you play games on it. You could do a movie night. You can play games. Or you could try karaoke.”
Oakland Schools Education Foundation board member Thanh Tran, and AccelerateKID are holding a Youth Gaming fundraiser on Friday, July 22d at the AccelerateKID Novi TechEd Center to benefit Jay. The cost to attend the fundraising event it is $25.00 and it will include:
- Light food and refreshments
- Coding – Robotics – Video Games
- AND The Level Up Wit Jay gaming bus will be on site as well so individuals can play video games on the bus as well.
